For us, it’s a year-round struggle to drink more water. We know we should, we know sodas and sweetened drinks should be the exception and not the rule, and yet we are CONSTANTLY coming up with new strategies to drink more water. That’s where infused water comes in!
One of the best ways we’ve found to drink water is to make it less like water. Sure, water is delicious and the health benefits are incredible on its own. I need only to look to the fact that I am almost guaranteed a headache every hot summer day if I don’t stay on top of my water intake to know that I NEED more water in my life.
Still, sometimes water is boring and we are nothing if not big fans of having a treat now and then.
Infused water sounds like a fancy thing, but it’s really just dropping some things into your water and admiring how pretty it is and how good it tastes. I imagine there are some health benefits, and some waters claim to have detoxing properties. Me? I’m just here for the taste, let’s be honest.
Wendy I and created a yummy cherry-lime water on a work day recently. We felt inspired to find a few other recipes to share and we’re pretty sure you can find one that will work for you from the list below!
Cherry-Lime Infused Water
The recipe here is cherries, limes and water. Pit your cherries, slice your limes and add as many as heart heart desires to a pitcher of water and chill.
